State of Texas Appliance Rebate Program

Today we are talking about the the state of Texas appliance rebate for new Energy Star rated appliances. 

The state of Texas received more than $23 million from the US Department of Energy to establish an Energy Efficient Appliance Rebate Program. For a 10 day period this spring there are rebates available for replacing older non-Energy Star appliances in your home.

Rules:
You must be a residence of Texas, and you must replace an older appliance to receive the rebate.
Rebates are not retroactive. They are only for purchases made during April 16-25, 2010.
Only Energy Star appliances are available for the rebate. 

Dates to follow:
April 5, 2010 – Rebates can be reserved by phone or online.
April 16-25, 2010 – Timeframe in which to purchase qualifying appliances at a Texas retailer. 

Remember to reserve your rebate on April 5th. Once they run out, they are gone.
